Dan Allenby | Principal & Founder

Dan is an author, speaker, and consultant who has worked with educational institutions and other nonprofits for more than 25 years to improve their fundraising results. An internationally-recognized expert on annual giving, he is a CASE Laureate and recipient of the prestigious Crystal Apple Award for Teaching Excellence. His book Ideas for Annual Giving offers designs for helping organizations increase their levels of sustainable philanthropic support.

Dan served as the assistant vice president for annual giving at Boston University during its $1 billion capital campaign, and previously led fundraising and marketing programs at Tufts University, Georgetown University, and the National Geographic Society. He also served on the faculty for CASE’s Summer Institute in Educational Fundraising, and chaired its Senior Annual Giving Professionals Conference and Annual Giving Workshop for five collective terms.

He holds a B.A. in History from James Madison University and a M.B.A. from Boston College. Dan lives with his wife and four children outside of Boston, MA. In his spare time he is an active singer/songwriter, serves as a board member of the Zullo Art Gallery, plays tennis, and enjoys getting away to the beaches of Cape Cod. Jennifer Fillare | Operations Manager

Jennifer has more than 5 years of experience supporting executive teams and organizing events in the finance, technology, and construction industries. She manages  AGN’s day-to-day operations and customer service and supports event production teams. In addition to her work for AGN, Jennifer is a freelance opera singer and performs regularly in the New York City area.  Jennifer holds a B.M. from Stetson University in Vocal Performance and an M.M. in Opera Performance from Queens College. Outside of work, Jennifer can be found searching for the best ice cream in NYC or reading a favorite book in the park.


Natalie Locke | Production Manager

A lifelong performing arts professional, Natalie began her career as an actress and has spent the past 5 years working in event management and the educational sector. She most recently served as the Director of Performing Arts at the Montrose School, guiding middle and high school students in curricular and co-curricular techniques and performances in theater, dance, musical theater, story, and communication. Natalie lives outside Boston with her family and enjoys spending her free time running around the backyard with her 2 little boys. She holds a B.F.A. in Music Theatre and B.A. in Dance from Elon University and an M.F.A. in Theater Arts from University of Idaho.


Anne Murphy | Resource Development Director

Anne has more than 15 years of experience in educational and non-profit fundraising, with a focus on annual giving. She currently manages AGN’s content and curriculum development and works directly with our faculty and consulting team to deliver resources and services. Prior to joining AGN, she served as Director of Annual Giving at the Westminster Schools in Atlanta, and she previously held advancement positions at St. Mark’s School of Texas, the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, and the Public Broadcasting Service. Anne holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and an M.P.A. with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from George Mason University. Anne lives in Atlanta with her husband, two elementary-aged children, and dog. She serves on the board of her neighborhood school’s foundation and spends her free time exploring the South with her family.

Adam Bradley | Consultant & Senior Faculty

Adam Bradley has spent a decade leading annual giving strategy and supporting direct marketing outreach in higher education. He currently serves as the Director of Annual Giving at The University of Michigan, where he steers the vision of annual giving and pipeline efforts for the institution’s schools, colleges, and non-degree granting units, including centralized annual giving efforts, digital fundraising, telefund, and student philanthropy. His previous roles include Lead Director of Annual Giving for Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and Associate Director of Marketing, through which he ran the university’s call center. He also served as a research manager and consultant at Qualigence International for nearly a decade. Adam holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from the Ross School of Business. He lives in Livonia, Michigan with wife, two kids, dog, and rabbit and spends his free time watching movies and reading good books.


Gina Fiorillo | Consultant & Senior Faculty

Gina Fiorillo has more than 20 years experience in fundraising for higher educational institutions and non-profit organizations. She currently serves as the Senior Director of Annual Giving at the Rutgers University Foundation, where she manages multichannel fundraising efforts including direct mail, phonathon, and email. Her career includes work in advancement at Kean University and Douglass College as well as several non-profits including Slow Food USA and the George Street Playhouse. Gina holds a B.A. in English from Douglass College and an M.P.A from the School of Public Affairs & Administration, Rutgers University. A born and bred Jersey girl, Gina enjoys cooking for her husband and daughter and their friends and exploring her creative side through pottery and photography.


Gloria Goosby | Consultant & Senior Faculty

Gloria Goosby has worked in annual giving and constituent relations for more than 15 years. She began her career as the phonathon coordinator at her alma mater, Georgia Southern University, and went on to lead annual giving efforts there for 5 years. She currently serves as the Director of Annual Giving at Furman University where she is responsible for developing and executing the strategy to increase alumni giving and raise annual funds in support of the university’s operations. Her experience includes call center management, leading community and employee giving campaigns, managing giving days, and developing engagement strategies for donors, students, and young alumni. She holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to podcasts, reading about history and politics, and spending time with family and friends. Gloria lives in Greenville, SC with her husband and their young son.


Elizabeth Keppel | Consultant & Senior Faculty

Elizabeth Keppel’s career has spanned direct marketing, frontline fundraising, volunteer and board management, and special campaigns. She currently serves as the Director of Strategic Priorities for Annual Giving at The Johns Hopkins University, where she leads the university’s undergraduate alumni participation strategy. Prior to her current role, she held annual giving positions at the University of Florida and William & Mary. Elizabeth received a B.A. in Government & Philosophy and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration, both from William & Mary. Elizabeth lives with her dog Sammy in Baltimore, Maryland. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and traveling every chance she gets.


Christy Moss | Consultant & Senior Faculty

Christy Moss’s career in advancement spans more than 15 years, during which time she has led efforts in annual giving, stewardship and donor relations, communications & marketing, data analytics, and event strategy, and has worked on three capital campaigns. Christy currently serves as the Vice President of Membership and Marketing at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Alumni Association. A speaker with CASE, she has also published multiple times in the Journal of Education Advancement and Marketing. Christy holds a B.A. in Communication from Greenville University and an M.S. in Information Science from the University of Illinois. Christy lives in Champaign, Illinois, with her twin daughters. In her spare time, she loves to travel with her girls and visit art museums.


Craig Waltman | Consultant & Senior Faculty

Craig Waltman has spent nearly twenty years in fundraising and direct marketing, working primarily with educational institutions and public broadcasting stations. He currently serves as Director of Annual Giving at Haverford College, where he oversees all aspects of the College’s annual giving program. Prior to joining Haverford in 2010, he served as a fundraising strategy and communications consultant and held positions in annual giving at Swarthmore College and in advancement at The Pathway School. Craig is an active volunteer with STAFF, Elizabethtown College, and serves on the Board of his local little league. Craig holds a B.A. in Psychology from Elizabethtown College. Craig lives with his wife, son, and energetic lab-mix outside of Philadelphia, PA. When he’s not walking the dog, he can often be found watching or playing sports with his son.
