The Director of Annual Giving opportunity is a full-time, 12-month exempt position and is eligible for the college’s full benefits program, including a tuition reduction benefit after two years of employment, as well as a generous retirement benefit after one year of employment. The position will report to the VP of Advancement.

Currently, in the second year of a four-year comprehensive campaign, the Building Community campaign has exceeded its $20 million goal. An ambitious goal to raise another $25 million for scholarships, programs, and a new campus center is underway in response to a record number of enrolled students.

A successful candidate will be able to implement and execute a donor-centric annual giving program that leads to meaningful, long-term relationships with constituents, allowing them to reach their greatest philanthropic potential. Additionally, this individual will be able to prioritize personal interaction, evaluation of data, implementation of industry best practices, and multi-channel fundraising, so all McPherson College constituents have an opportunity to be involved as donors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Three years of experience in Higher Ed or non-profit fundraising preferred; persons with sales/marketing/customer service experience encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and customer/constituent relationship management software is preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a pre-employment background screen which includes a MVR
