The Database and Advancement Services Manager will foster growth of best practices in supporting areas of gift processing, data management and donor relations as related to all giving to Regina Dominican. This position supports the Advancement department in administrative services and reports to the Senior Director of Advancement.

  • Focus on supplying data to help support effective communication and solicitation activities within specific market segments identified as having potential for the greatest growth regarding the Regina Fund Appeal.
  • Analyze prospect management portfolios related data tracking consistencies; promote data integrity and support fundraising teams to effectively reach their portfolio goals.
  • Generate reports as required for the work of the Advancement Department and the Finance Department, including reports in RE NXT to support relationship management and information for donor and prospect strategy memos, especially for major gifts and capital campaigns.
  • Conduct prospect research and create prospect profiles.
  • Manage e-initiatives such as birthday emails and ThankView video emails to constituents.
  • Provide progress reports on fundraising goals.
  • Provide query and mailing support of the annual appeal and events.
  • Oversee data entry, gift processing and acknowledgement letters.
  • Support implementation of individual and group stewardship plans.
  • Support annual giving by segmenting data for reunion campaigns and other specialty constituents, such as the Board of Directors and alumnae board members.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Alumnae and Parent Relations to maintain correspondence with alumnae via notes, sympathy cards, get well wishes, letters, email, and Veritas Magazine and Annual Report.
  • Record all income for all Advancement and school events relating to donations in the donor database.
  • Create income and expense reports for Advancement events.
  • Reconcile donation/gift revenue with the Finance Department.
  • Annually import incoming students and parents as constituents and update constituencies of graduating students and their parents.
  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office as well as maintaining the office files and records
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge in database management (particularly RE/NXT) and in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Google Suite is required
  • Detailed oriented and able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Strong background in data analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communications preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience working in a development office
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds and opinions
