About the Role:

If you have a passion for fundraising and enjoy managing a team of volunteers, the Assistant Director of Annual Giving may be a great opportunity for you. We’re looking for a clear communicator who is motivated by achieving set goals and managing multiple projects with varying responsibilities and deadlines. You will serve as the main point of strategy, execution and contact for our Parent and Student Annual Giving programs. This also includes assisting in the execution of the Athletics Annual Giving program. At St. Olaf, you’ll be working alongside dedicated teams that bring their passion and pride to all that they do.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and execute a plan for Parent Fundraising
  • Create forecasts and metrics and set goals for each program
  • Monitor, analyze and evaluate giving patterns
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise the work of Parent committees
  • Recruit, train and manage Senior Gift campaign chairs and committee.
  • Assist Director of Annual Giving in creating and executing a fundraising plan for the Athletics department

Who You Are:

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in fundraising or a related field

It will be helpful if you also have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing, sales, public relations or related degree
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in higher education; annual fund experience
