TAG provides strategic direction for annual giving university-wide, across 8 school or unit-based annual fund programs run independently across the division. Together, these programs raise over $20M towards annual fund achievement at Tufts. To support these efforts, TAG provides some central services including strategic direction and support, execution of university-wide marketing efforts, management of university-wide giving initiatives, developing analyses and reporting tools, providing industry best-practices and benchmarking support and ensuring that as much of the programmatic work as possible is uniform across the University. TAG also manages a robust university-wide annual fund volunteer leadership structure for the upcoming campaign, to reinforce Tufts’ philosophy that annual fund gifts of any size are vital to the success of the Brighter World campaign.

TAG is also responsible for the Tufts Fund for Arts, Sciences, and Engineering. The fund is critical to the successful operation of the arts, sciences and engineering programs at Tufts University as it currently raises more than $11 million dollars annually, with nearly 80% of that toward unrestricted budget-relieving purposes.
