As director of donor digital experience and digital hub, you will be a key member of the strategic resource development team and helm U-M’s efforts to provide a world-class digital experience for our donors. As U-M’s digital donor experience continues to evolve, you will work alongside the assistant vice president of strategic resource development to refine the university’s vision and develop a multi-year plan to achieve it. You will lead in aligning digital efforts, unifying platforms and tools, exploring new concepts, and developing innovative approaches to the digital donor experience.

As a member of the U-M community, you will be charged with building lasting relationships with colleagues across campus. Together, you will work collaboratively and cross-functionally to plan, develop, and implement a refined digital experience for U-M’s generous benefactors.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • A minimum of 7 years professional experience in fundraising, marketing, or equivalent roles
  • Strong comprehensive skill set within digital or ecommerce field
  • Strong knowledge of modern technologies and emerging platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage large, complex projects through to completion
  • Commitment to fostering a positive team environment with an emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience working in higher education and/or development
  • Familiarity with Blackbaud CRM and digital products
