| Description | The FIU Alumni Participation Challenge was a competition to see which of FIU's colleges and schools' alumni could band together to reach the most donations by June 30, 2018. The more alumni who donated, the higher the participation rate—and the greater chance for each college or school to win! |
| What makes this unique | The Alumni Participation Challenge was a unique effort in pinning the Schools and Colleges against each other to acquire donors to increase their participation rate. Meanwhile, the winning school receives a $5,000 Scholarship, 2nd place: $3,000 for scholarships, and 3rd place: $2,000 for scholarships. |
| Primary Goal | The primary goal of the Alumni Participation Challenge was to retain and acquire donors before the fiscal year ended on 06/30/2018. |
| Outcome | The Alumni Participation Challenge had a direct result of 107 alumni donors and raised $6,205. This effort helped us get to the $1,000,000 mark for FY18 and get a total of 5,561 donors. |
