Director of Donor Relations and Development Operations

The Chanticleer Athletic Foundation seeks applicants for the position of Director of Donor Relations and Development Operations.

Duties include, but are not limited to: develops, implements, and leads a successful and integrated donor relations program that strategically targets all levels of giving as defined by the CAF; ensures donors are acknowledged, appreciated and recognized to strengthen their financial support for the University; manages donor events, coaches’ tours, Impact Fund, premium seating experience, Game Day, Chanticleer Gala, SCAF and stewardship efforts; manages and coordinates any campaign related kick-offs and celebration events; event planner managing special events including alumni, donor stewardship and external relations gatherings both locally and outside; responsible for the CAF’s coordination of student giving and philanthropic education; creates strategic and systematic plans to communicate with donors around gift recognition, insight into the impact and significance of their gift; oversees and directs the creation and implementation of strategic communications in multiple mediums in a timely fashion (this will include, but not be limited to, social media calendar, e-blasts, year-end-reminders, endowment reports, web pages, invitations, newsletter updates, fundraising campaign materials, and the coordination of press announcements); supports with administrative duties in the absence of Administrative Coordinator; prepares deposit batch, paying invoices, etc.; may supervise student workers and student ambassadors; researches current trends, trainings and statistics in the Athletic Development Sector; and conducts donor prospect research and profiles.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree, collegiate athletic department experience and previous experience working for a non-profit organization are required. A master’s degree is preferred.
